Sticky Mango Tower Bridge
Nestled in the heart of Shad Thames, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Tower Bridge, Sticky Mango Tower Bridge delivers a Southeast Asian dining experience that’s as vibrant as its riverside location. Whether you’re swinging by for a solo lunch break or dressing up for a dinner date, this spot knows how to impress-with flavor, flair, and a touch of tropical elegance.
What hits you first is the atmosphere. It’s got that polished London style with just enough Southeast Asian edge to keep things exciting. There’s outdoor seating for those breezy Thames-side evenings, and accessibility has clearly been considered-with wheelchair-friendly entrance and seating options.
Let’s talk food-because that’s where Sticky Mango Tower Bridge really turns heads. If you’re into small plates with a big personality, start with the Gochujang Pork Belly or the Spicy Tuna Tartare Spring Rolls. The pork belly melts like butter, with a kick of sweet-spicy heat that stays with you (in the best way). Those spring rolls? Crisp, fresh, with a bold punch of tuna and sesame-absolutely addictive.
From there, move on to the Chicken Satay, which is rich, smoky, and arrives with a peanut sauce you’ll want to scrape clean. For something more refined, the Vietnamese Style Seared Scallops are a must. Lightly charred, delicately seasoned, they come with a whisper of citrus that lifts the whole dish. This place doesn’t just deliver flavor-it balances it like an art form.
For mains, the Lobster Pad Thai steals the show. Decadent, silky noodles, topped with sweet, tender lobster meat-it’s indulgent, but never over-the-top. Prefer something heartier? The Massaman Lamb Shank is comfort in a bowl: fall-off-the-bone lamb swimming in a rich, aromatic curry. You can taste the hours that went into it.
Vegetarians aren't left behind either. The Cauliflower in Thai spices and Vegetable Pad Thai are both standouts. Packed with fresh herbs, wok-seared to perfection, and deeply satisfying. And don’t miss the Thai Green Mango Salad-sweet, sour, spicy, crunchy-it’s a flavor rollercoaster in a bowl.
And then there’s the Miso Glazed Black Cod. Buttery, flaky, and cloaked in a glaze that toes the line between sweet and savory. It’s one of those dishes that stops conversation mid-bite.
Now let’s talk drinks. This isn’t a place that throws a few beers on a list and calls it a day. The Pinapple Vodka & Basil Cocktail is cheeky, fresh, and dangerously easy to drink. The cocktail menu is crafted to match the spice and zing of the food, and there’s a well-curated wine list for those who prefer a dry rosé or crisp Sauvignon Blanc with their curry. Want something bubbly? Prosecco flows freely, adding a celebratory touch to even the most casual visit.
Desserts lean playful. Think tropical flavors, clean presentation, and not-too-sweet finales. The Sorbet selection is ideal for a palate cleanse after a spice-heavy meal, and if you’re still nursing a cocktail, it pairs like a dream.
The service at Sticky Mango Tower Bridge is attentive but not pushy. Staff know the menu inside out, so don’t hesitate to ask for recommendations-whether it’s a wine to pair with the Gochujang or the best sequence of dishes for two.
While the restaurant doesn't offer takeaway, it does provide delivery, which is great news for those who want to enjoy their Massaman curry curled up at home. But truth be told, the real magic is in dining in-the vibe, the presentation, the pace-it all works together to create something memorable.
So whether you're drawn in by the sushi, staying for the cocktails, or coming back for the lamb curry, Sticky Mango Tower Bridge brings something different to London’s dining scene. It's not just a meal-it’s a mini escape to Southeast Asia, served one dazzling plate at a time.
Reviews
We visited Sticky Mango for the first time today and we cannot wait to go back. The view from the restaurant was stunning, the service was on point and the decor throughout was beautiful and vibrant. But most importantly the food was incredibly delicious. My husband had the lamb shank which melted of the bone and was served in the most gorgeous sauce, I had steak which was juicy, tender and came with a lovely dipping sauce. For starters we had a selection of crispy squid, buttery scallops served in the shell and soft shell crab. To finish off we had a selection of desserts and coffee. Thank you for a relaxing and lovely experience Sticky Mango, we will be back!
I've just returned home from an amazing birthday dinner at this restaurant, and from the staff to the service to the food....I can find no fault. As soon as my partner and I stepped through the door, we were greeted with a smile and constantly looked after throughout the whole dinner by Ben, who was amazing. The highlights for me were the Rose Hibiscus cocktail and the pork belly. The pork was so soft and flavoursome, and the cocktail was sweet with a subtle tart flavour. The squid was also very flavoursome and well-cooked and the curry puffs were delicious. The atmosphere was relaxed with a romantic interior. Thanks again to the team for a great time and for contributing to a lovely birthday!!
What a fun place! Food was excellent with fabulous service. I love how the food is beautifully prepared. And you MUST try the sticky mango dessert.
Again a lovely meal, staff are amazing and so accommodating. Curry puffs are to die for and duck fried rice is so tasty and enough to share for two. The decor is so beautiful. Sitting outside with a view of the river and tower bridge sets the mood, especially of a night time
Well, the ambience is great. Views of tower bridge and is great on the terrace in the summer. The food looks good, but that's about it. We ordered the papaya salad, satay, curry puffs, and prawn pad thai. The salad was good, the rest below average. Prawns tasted like they were frozen for a while. Satay is a bit overly salty and burnt. The service is great though just the food needs improvement.
